To mark World Bone Marrow Donor Day, Global MPN Scientific Foundation will host an online webinar to provide clear and reliable information about bone marrow donation, donor registries and their importance in the field of hematological diseases.

The session will take place on September 21, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. (CET) and will feature Dr. Alejandra Martínez-Trillo, hematology physician and Deputy Director of the Spanish Registry of Bone Marrow Donors (REDMO).

This webinar will be an opportunity to answer questions, better understand how donor registries work and learn why bone marrow donation can represent a life-giving opportunity for many people with blood diseases.

Although not all people living with myeloproliferative neoplasms need a transplant, in certain specific cases, particularly for selected patients with myelofibrosis, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation may become part of the medical conversation. For this reason, discussing donation, information and donor registries is also relevant to our community.

This event is organized by Global MPN Scientific Foundation, in collaboration with MPN España and MPN LATAM.
