From August 21 to 23, 2026, the MPN Workshop of the Carolinas 2026 will take place in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, bringing together specialists, healthcare professionals and researchers focused on myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN).
Global MPN Scientific Foundation will be present at the workshop with an information booth, sharing resources, educational materials and content designed to help bring clear, reliable and patient-centered information to the MPN community.

A meeting focused on MPN knowledge
The MPN Workshop of the Carolinas 2026 is designed as an educational space for healthcare professionals. The program will address some of the most relevant topics in the MPN field, including new therapeutic strategies, research advances, disease modification, stem cell transplantation, current therapies and emerging approaches.
The workshop will also include discussion around the management of younger patients and less common MPNs, offering a broad view of today’s challenges and the evolving responses taking shape in clinical practice and research.
For Global MPN, participating in this type of meeting is an important opportunity to continue building bridges between science, clinical practice and the patient experience.

Bringing the patient voice into scientific spaces
MPNs are complex diseases that require accurate information, specialized follow-up and clear communication between patients, families and healthcare professionals.
At Global MPN, we work to ensure that patient education remains part of the scientific conversation. Being present at a workshop like this allows us to share resources that help explain life with MPN, highlight community needs and promote a perspective more closely connected to the daily experience of people living with these diseases.
During the event, Global MPN will share information about its educational, research, wellbeing and community initiatives, including tools and projects designed to support patients and caregivers at different stages of their journey.
Information, education and community
Global MPN’s presence at the MPN Workshop of the Carolinas 2026 reflects our commitment to a more informed, connected and active international MPN community.
Through our content, webinars, interviews, digital resources and wellbeing initiatives, we aim to bring scientific knowledge closer to people living with MPN, always using accessible, responsible and patient-centered communication.
We also seek to continue creating opportunities for collaboration with healthcare professionals, researchers and organizations that share the goal of improving information, education and quality of life for people affected by MPN.
Another step in international connection
Progress in MPN does not depend only on scientific research. It also requires listening, collaboration and spaces where medical knowledge can meet the lived experience of patients.
Global MPN’s participation in this workshop is another step in that direction: being present, sharing resources and continuing to work so the international MPN community has access to reliable, useful and human information.
Global MPN will continue to share updates about its presence at the MPN Workshop of the Carolinas 2026 and related content from the event.
